ABOUT US
The NorthWest Orthopaedic Institute is a non-profit [501(c)3]
organization.
We are committed to community-based public health research
and education related to musculoskeletal issues.
The NWOI is located on the University of Washington, Tacoma
campus in the historic Tacoma Union Station district. It is
one block from the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center
and only 30 minutes from Seatac International Airport. We offer
excellent space and equipment which can be adapted to meet a
variety of needs.
ABOUT YOU
Students and interns are in a unique position – you are
at a stage in your life where you can develop new professional
skills in your areas of interest, thus broadening your future
career options. We want you to take this opportunity to maximize
your potential. Our aim is for you to reach your goals and to
make your academic experience with us as valuable as possible.
We are open to your proposals. If you have a suggestion for
fieldwork, an internship or a project, feel free to come in
and discuss it with us.
